Grand Slam Martial Arts provides family valued martial arts instruction to the town and surrounding communities of Rustburg, Virginia.
Our mission is to help each student become a self-disciplined and confident individual both in the class and out.
Here at Grand Slam Martial Arts we offer classes for students from 4 years and above. Students will receive training in the art of Shotokan Karate, a traditional style of karate, as well as American Freestyle martial arts and innovative self-defense techniques. Classes are built to help each student have a healthy self-esteem by developing students' fitness, focus,and coordination. Each student will be able to develop at their own pace while striving to give their best effort.
Sensei Jeff Doss is the Senior Instructor and teaches all the classes at Grand Slam Martial Arts. Sensei Doss has been a martial artist for 20 years and is a graduate of Radford University in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education. Sensei Doss is also a Rustburg native and has traveled the world competing in sport karate tournaments for over 17 years.
